Kids Run Rules & Regulations

General

  1. By signing up for and providing any information, personal or otherwise, in order to gain access to any product(s) or service(s) and/or participate in any program(s), event(s), talk(s), demonstration(s) or any activities involving Enterprise Sports Group (“ESG”), the individual is deemed to have given written permission for ESG to collect, analyse, collate, share, disclose to third parties, sell and/or otherwise use without any liability to the individual any personal information relating to that individual as ESG may in its sole discretion deem fit, including without any limitation for the following purposes:

    For its programs, planning, data-processing, statistical or risk-analysis, research, fund-raising and/or any other purposes in furtherance of the functions or powers of ESG as follows:
    1. For development or implementation of programs, products or services provided by ESG and/or in collaboration with any third parties;
    2. For outsourcing of any program(s), event(s), talk(s), demonstration(s) and/or any activities to third parties;
    3. To any third parties for promotional, marketing and/or administrative purposes;
    4. For all purposes as required by law, including without limitation court proceedings, criminal investigations or prosecutions or where so ordered by any competent authority;
    5. In connection with any proposed, novation, assignment, transfer, sale, lease, license, partnership, joint-organizing and/or any collaboration where and when required in relation thereto
  2. The Organiser reserves the right to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of the Event for any legitimate purpose, including commercial advertising.
  3. The Organiser reserves the right to limit and refuse entries for whatsoever reason.
  4. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel or postpone the race without any prior notification, in which case, the registration fees are non-refundable.
  5. In the event of bad weather, the Organiser reserves the right to delay the commencement of the race, shorten the race or modify the course. However, should bad weather persist, the Organiser reserves the right to cancel the race without any registration fee refund.
  6. Completion of the entry form, including online registration, evidences the participant's and their Parent’s/Guardian’s agreement to abide by the relevant Rules & Regulations of the Cold Storage Kids Run. Such rules apply at the material time and to any ruling of the Organiser. The Organiser reserves the right to add and amend the rules and regulations without prior notification.
  7. The Organiser reserves the right to amend the race course without prior notice to participants.
  8. Any disputes arising from participation in the Cold Storage Kids Run shall be referred to Arbitration to be conducted in Singapore under the law of the Singapore Arbitration Court.

Race Entry

  1. The Organiser shall not be responsible for any disputes arising from incomplete details given by participants.
  2. This race is for children aged 6 months to 12 years.
  3. Participants are only allowed to take part in one of the race categories.
  4. Participants are allowed to register for a lower-age group category in the non-competitive race.
  5. Race category or race entry is not transferable. Any request for change of category is subject to an administrative fee of S$5.
  6. Registration will not be accepted on race day.
  7. For children aged 6 years old and below, only one parent/guardian issued with an identification tag will be allowed to accompany the child.
  8. Once the registration form has been duly processed, there will be no registration fee refund for those participants who eventually do not take part for whatever reason.
  9. An administrative fee of $10 (Ten Singapore Dollars only) shall be charged to participants who collect their race entry packs after the race expo on 14 & 15 May has ended. All uncollected race packs and merchandise one (1) month after the event day shall be forfeited and donated to charity.
  10. All Participants need to bring along their confirmation slip to collect their Race Entry Packs that include the Race Bib, Race T-shirt and goodie bag at the Race Expo. For group collection of Race Packs, the representative is required to produce all Official Receipts or Confirmation Slips and Authorisation Letters of all the participants.
  11. Participants shall be entered by their parent/ guardian who will fill up the relevant indemnity and declaration forms as deemed necessary by the Organiser upon online registration or in-person registration, failing which, the Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to any participant.

Happy Green Family Chase Category

  1. This race is open to parents/guardians (21 years old & above) with an accompanying child (aged between 7 to 12 years old as of 2011).
  2. Only one parent/guardian (issued with an identical Race Bib) is allowed to run with one child participant.

Singapura Finance Sunshine Orange Chase (Mixed) and Sunny Family Chase (Mixed)

  1. This race is open to parents (21 years old & above) with an accompanying child (aged beratween 2 to 6 years old as of 2011).
  2. Only one parent/guardian (issued with an Identical Race Bib) is allowed to run with one child participant.

Mamil Gold Stroller Chase Category

  1. This race is open to parents (21 years old & above) with a stroller & accompanying toddler /infant.
  2. Accompanying toddler/ kid to be at least 6 months to not more than 23 months old (toddlers born June 2009 to December 2010).
  3. Only one parent (issued with a Race Bib) is allowed to one stroller.
  4. All strollers will be checked for defects, road worthiness by the Organiser before the start of race.
  5. All strollers found not suitable will either be asked to modify before the race or be refused entry into the race. The Organiser’s decision on the safety and suitability of the stroller is final.
  6. Toddlers / kids must be strapped onto the stroller at all times.
  7. Parents are reminded to keep their hands on the stroller handles at all times during the race.
  8. Parents are advised to push the pram at a safe and comfortable pace.
  9. Parents are advised to be alert, cautious & in control of the stroller at all times.
  10. Parents must stay on the designated race route marked by cones, barricades, tapes or marshals.

Schools' Challenge

  1. Participants must be students of an educational institution. All decisions by the Organiser shall be final. Verification of eligibility must be provided upon request. The institution with the largest number of students wins the award.
  2. The educational institutions have to provide a Coordinator to play the role of a liaison officer with the Organiser.
  3. The Coordinator is responsible for recruiting Participants, finalising his/her participants’ race entries and obtaining and distributing race day materials to the Participants.
  4. The Coordinator is responsible for submitting the registration details of the Participants in the format stipulated by the Organiser.
  5. No substitutions of Participants will be allowed once the educational institutions’ entry has been submitted.

Race

  1. Runners must wear their allocated Race Bib at all times during the race. Runners without the allocated Race Bib will not be allowed to take part in the race.
  2. The form on the reverse of the runner’s Race Bib must be completed in full and accurately.
  3. No pets, or any form of wheel-run modes of transport e.g. inline skates, prams, push cars, shoes with built-in or attached rollers are allowed on the course except official race vehicles, medical vehicles and participants & parents in the Pram race category.
  4. Participants who commence before or after the actual start time of their official Race will be disqualified.

Safety & Medical

  1. While every reasonable precaution will be taken by the Organiser to ensure the safety of participants, participants run at their own risk and the Organiser shall not be liable for any loss, death and/or damage, whether personal or otherwise, and howsoever arising.
  2. Participants are strongly encouraged to go for a medical examination and/ or consult their medical practitioner prior to registration and before the actual race day.
  3. The parent or guardian of each participant is responsible for the child’s safety on the race day. They will determine if the child is medically fit to run, ensure that the child can attend the event and will also be present to supervise the child.
  4. A participant must retire from the race immediately if required to do so by any member of the official medical staff and /or security officer.

Prizes

  1. Prizes will be awarded to Top 3 finishers of DASH races only.
