Cold Storage Kids Run is an annual running event that aims to encourage the young ones to Eat Healthy and Get Active trough running and the right preparation for the run. 2017 marks the 10th year the event has been organised by ESG, a leading homegrown sports marketing firm.

The Best Dressed Challenge is open to all participants across all Family Fun categories. The objective is to out-dress other participants in the most creative, wacky, wild or original outfits. Three teams will be chosen as Best Dressed Challenge winners of the Cold Storage Kids Run 2017!

The Kids Run Expo is where all registered participants will collect their race entry pack which consists of the race bib (number tag) for the child, his/her event t-shirt, a tag for the participant’s parent for identification on the event day and sponsors’ goodies. It will be held on 6 & 7 May, 2017, at Kallang Leisure Park.
On top of that, expect a day of fun, games and activities at the Kids Run Expo!

In mind of safety considerations, we have set a limit on the number of registration per category. Once the category limit is reached, registration for that category will be closed. However, if you would like to place your child on the waiting list, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will contact you once there is any available slot in that category.
Yes, you can change your child’s race category subject to the race category availability and organiser’s review. Any request for change of category is subject to an administrative fee of S$10 along with any applicable top-up amount.
Unfortunately, race registration fees are non-refundable.

The Kids Run Fun Fest is where all registered participants collect their race entry pack. The race entry pack consists of the race bib (number tag) for the child, his/her event t-shirt, the tag for the participant’s parent for identification on the event day and sponsors’ goodies.

The confirmation slip & NRIC/Passport of the participant have to be presented during the entry pack collection at the Kids Run Expo. Confirmation slip can be presented via smart phone, tablets or a digital device. you do not need to print the confirmation slip.
Parents who are unable to collect the race packs at the Kids Run Expo may appoint a representative to collect them on their behalf. All representatives are required to produce the following physical documentation on-site:

All runners and representatives should check their race packs before leaving the collection counter. In the event of any discrepancy, please notify the counter staff immediately.
A replacement for a timing chip is subject to an administrative fee of S$30. Please call our hotline: 9001 7225 before Friday, 8 May 2017 to inform us for a replacement. A spare bib together with a timing chip will be given on the Race Day at the information booth.
Runners may still participate in the race if they have lost, misplaced or forget to bring their timing devices. However, their race timings will not be recorded and will not be eligible for any prize. Please note that runners MUST have their race bibs to enter the race route.
The timing chips are disposable. You do not need to return them to the organisers.
The timing chips have the advantage of recording fast and accurate timing results for participants. In the event that your child’s timing was not recorded, this could be due to following reasons:

The start and finish points are at Palawan Green, Sentosa.
The exact race-day reporting times will be stated on your race bibs, that you will receive during Race Pack Collection on 6 & 7 May 2017.
There will be announcements at the waiting area next to the Start Point to inform participants to line up at the Start Line prior to their category flag-off. The emcee will provide any additional instructions or information to the participants before the start of the race.

We will review on a case-by-case basis and any requests must be emailed to the Race Organisers at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Should your child miss his/her flag-off time, he/she may be allowed to join another race category at the sole discretion of the Event Organiser. Participants will not qualify for any awards if they do not run in the category that they have registered for.
Unfortunately, participants who do not complete their race will not be issued the Finisher’s medal and Finisher’s Certificate.
The race bib acts as a passport for runners to take part in the race. The child’s emergency contact details are on the reverse side of their race bibs in case of an emergency. Runners who do not wear their race bibs will not be allowed to participate in the race and they will not receive the Finishers’ Medal or Certificate.
Please approach any event official to report the loss. We will notify the volunteers and emcees to make an announcement when required.
In the event of bad weather, the Organiser reserves the right to delay the commencement of the race, shorten the race or modify the course. However, should bad weather persist, the Organiser reserves the right to cancel the race without any refund of the registration fee and the event will not be rescheduled to another day.
Yes. There will be at least 3 medical posts situated at key locations along the race route and 1 main medical centre located at the event site.
Yes. There will a drinks station located at the event site. Bottled water will also be distributed to all participants at the Athletes Welfare Area (AWA) after they finished the race. In addition, medical posts located along the route are also equipped with bottled water.
The running route at Palawan Green, Sentosa is primarily on its designated tarmac paths and will not include any public roads. The route also provides plenty of rest points and photo positions of the surroundings without posing any danger to the other runners.
Race results are available at the information booth on event day. The emcee will be making announcements once the results are available. The parents of the winner will also be contacted via the contact number provided during registration.
Appeal against the results must be made within 15 mins at the information counter after the results are posted at the Information Booth. An appeal fee of $50 is applicable and an appeal form will have to be completed.
The appeal will be reviewed within 30 mins after it has been lodged. In the event that the appeal is successful, the appeal fee of $50 will be refunded.
For all categories, participant’s certificates will be mailed to the address provided during the registration process. Any certificate mailed to an incomplete or wrong address will be deemed as delivered and will not be eligible for a reprint or redelivery.
There will be no baggage counter at the race site. Please keep all baggage & valuables with you.
All timing results will be uploaded on the Cold Storage Kids Run website within 24 hours.

Unfortunately, no you may not. All finisher medals are to be collected on race day.
