- The reporting venue for each category is at the
Start Point Holding Area/ Meeting Point.
- *1 parent is to run with the child at all times during the race. It is compulsory for the accompanying parent to wear the wrist tag.
PRE-RACE INFORMATION
Preparation for the Big Day
- Ensure your child has ample rest the night before the race
(at least 8 hours of sleep).
- Ensure your child drinks sufficient water before he/she sleeps.
- Remember to bring your child’s race bib and your wrist tag for
identification purpose.
- Prepare an extra set of clothes for your child.
- Bring along some money for the carnival after the race!
- If your child falls ill a few days prior to the event day, please seek doctor’s clearance for your child’s participation.
- If your child is feeling unwell, it is advisable to ask your child to rest at home on event day.

Getting to Race Venue
Public Transportation
You can reach the Padang by public bus or MRT. The nearest MRT station is City Hall MRT Station. Buses available include 100,107, 130, 131, 51, 63, 80, 124, 145, 166, 174,
174e, 197.
If you are taking a Taxi, you can alight at the Esplanade Bus Stop along Esplanade Drive
Parking Facilities
Parking facilities are available at the nearby shopping centres such the Esplanade, Raffles City, Suntec City and Marina Square.

Wet Weather Arrangement
- In the event of heavy rain, lightning and other inclement weather, the event
will be delayed.
- Should the inclement weather last beyond 10am, the event will be cancelleD.
- The event will not be postponed to a later date.
Before the Race
- Your child must wear his/her race bib on the front of their running tee at all times during the race.
- Any participant without a race bib will not be allowed to take part in the race.
- Water in cups will be provided for your child (with bib only) before the start of the race at the Carnival Drink Station. Your child is also not advised to consume too much water 1 hour before the start of the race.
- The reporting time for each category is half an hour before each race start time at the Start Point Holding Area/ Meeting Point.
- Parents are not allowed to run with the kids except in the
Sunshine Orange Chase Category.
- No pets, push prams, skate boards, skate scooters, inline skates etc are allowed on the race course.
- If your child is feeling unwell on the event day, it is encouraged to ask him/her to sit out for the race.
During the Race
- Thomson Medical Centre, the leading healthcare provider for women and children will be providing medical assistance, should your child suffer any injuries
during the race.
- If your child is unable to complete the whole race, he/she is encouraged to part walk/run to the finish line.
After the Race
- The participants will be ushered to the End Point Holding Area next to the Finishing Point after their respective races.
- Each child will receive the following souvenirs at the End Point Holding Area upon completion of the race.

A bottle of water
- After the participants have received their souvenirs, they will be released from the End Point Holding Area. Parents are advised to pick them up at the exit points of the holding area.
(Finisher Medal, Race certificate, Lifebuoy towel and bottled water will only be given to participating kids wearing the event race bib)
OTHER EVENT INFORMATION
Race Timing and Appeal
- Top 3 winners of the competitive categories will have their race time recorded [Speedy Purple Dash (Boys/Girls) & Boogey Blue Dash (Boys/Girls)].
- Results will be posted at the Information booth half an hour after the flag off of each competitive category.
- In the event of a dispute over race results, an appeal can be lodged at the information booth.
- Appeal must be lodged within 15 minutes after the announcement of the race timing.
- A non-refundable $50 administration fee will be charged per appeal.
Prize Presentation
- All winners are required to be present at the winners holding area beside the stage for the Prize Presentation Ceremony at 10:30a.m
SERVICES AVAILABLE
- Diaper changing facilities are available at the Padang.
- For hygiene purpose, there will be water-basin facilities provided by Lifebuoy.
- Mobile toilets are available at the Padang. Public toilet facilities are also available at Raffles City, Adelphi, Esplanade, Suntec City, Marina Square and City Hall MRT.
- There will be a Lost and Found counter at the Information Booth.
- First Aid will be provided at the carnival area.
Note: There will not be any baggage-deposit facilities on the race day.
